Close encounter with Christ?

What would it take to have a close encounter with Christ? Why is it so important to have a close encounter with Christ? My favorite story to observe for an understanding of a close encounter with Christ is from Luke 7, the story of the sinner woman. During this Christmas time, think about your close encounters with Christ. When have you met with the Lord? How did you meet with Him? As you grow in the Lord, do your encounters with the Lord change or stay the same? Isn't Christmas a time of year for more of Christ (mas in Spanish is more)? So what can you do to get more of Christ this Christmas season? Could your encounters with Christ change? Mine have! I have been taking more hikes and worshipping God from the stage while I play the drums for the Church.
