How could this be?

So, if we have crossed that "bridge of peace" and we are now with God, what do we do now? Do we just stay with God in the happy place? Do we boldly preach to others? Do we help others come to know and understand the peace of God? How do we do this? It's like this picture; we go through the bushes of distress and into the light of God. But once we are with God, then what? It's as if we need to influence the culture, but not be part of the culture. We need to be at a distance from the world, but still be a part of the world. How could this be? What would it take to separate from culture and have your allegiance be to God? What would it take to live a life apart from this world and close to God? Could this even be done?
