What about change?

But what will happen if others see people of God interacting with the world's culture? Will they see the people of God as the same as this destructive worldly culture? How can God's people examine the world and change the culture? Is the world inevitably going to have to answer to God for its wrong doings? Again, how does God's people embrace the lost, but assist them to change to God's way? Could the people of the world look at the Church and scream HYPOCRISY, you are the same as we are? You swear, get angry and outburst, lie, cheat, steal, drink, and overeat, but that is okay because you do it to the glory of God? As Jake said, the people of God must follow God moment to moment by seeking Him in all situations. God does not desire us to be amish and live apart from this world, but He does desire that we make an impact and be the light of the world. Remember, it is God who will change the people, it will not be "the people of God" who change the people of this world. So I say come as you are, but know that if you give your life over to God, you probably won't stay the same!
