Could God be protecting us through His mysteries?
Does it truly matter who is and who is not anointed or authentic? I suppose that it is important to understand who is authentic, but the Bible says that whoever confesses Jesus as Lord has the Holy Spirit within them. Scripture also says that the Spirit of God can only understand the things of God. That said, if you profess Jesus as Lord then you have the Holy Spirit within you and you can understand the things of God. Then why are we wondering who is anointed or authentic; shouldn't we just wonder who professes Jesus as Lord? As I study for school, I am starting to see an element of mystery in following Christ. Do you suppose that God might use this element of mystery to protect us? Could God use this mystery to keep us from becoming puffed up or big headed? If so, then why do we wonder what is anointed and what is not anointed? Let us live a life of good works that glorify God! My desire is to be a better person unto God!
