Do you ever feel like people are not listening? Why don't people hear what you are saying? Are people so wrapped up into what they are doing, that they don't care what you are doing? I had this experience yesterday. I was talking to some friends, and they looked at me like I had three heads. I tried to tell them about where I felt the Lord was leading me, and how I would go about following Him. After I had stated that this is what I sensed or discerned the Lord was doing in my life, they seemed to care what I had to say; ultimately it seems as though they are all about doing their own thing. I found it to be saddening because they are close friends and all they truly cared about was the vision and goals of the current church. God has been prophesying church plants for years, so why not move forward with "this kid"? If my vision lines up with the churches vision, then shouldn't it be a "GO"?

Thoughts about Scripture...
As Moses was leading Israel from Mount Hor to Edom, they spoke against God, and He sent venomous snake that killed some. God told Moses to make a snake out of bronze snake and put it on a pole. God said that when the people looked at the snake, they would be healed from the snake bit. If this is true, why would God command Moses to make something that could be an idol? Don't they end up making a Gold Calf? How do we know that Moses truly heard God's voice on this one? Should we follow one MAN or should we follow God and trust that He is working through Man? What if I sense the Lord doing something, and Man senses something else? What if I sense the Lord say make a bronze snake and put it on a post, while Man sense wait for the timing of the Lord?
