Open your mouth wide!

There is a lot of coffee and newspapers in the emergent/c. Is this a new discipline of the Postmodern Church? It would be nice; I like coffee and newspapers!

I just started Shane Hipps' new book The Hidden Power of Electronic Culture; awesome book. This is a must buy and read! Support the Arizona pastor who has a great understanding of the gospel as it relates or works through culture. He discusses technology and our perspective of God and His creation. This book and the Lord's Table will be a major part of this blog for the next week. Today at the Lord's Table I re-learned that I must open my mouth wide to receive from God (Psalm 81:10-12). In order to be satisfied by God we must open His Word and be nourished by the Truth. When you feel tempted in any situation seek God through His Word, meditation, and prayer. I also desire to do the Lectio Divina, which was taught to me by Tony Jones.
